About a year and a half ago, I ran a D&D campaign for my brothers and my friend. Since they asked, I drew a lineup of their characters ([link]). Well, everyone enjoyed it so much, we decided to continue it a few months ago. Everyone pretty much demanded a 'season two' outfit, so here's the group redesign. The original PCs found a great (pirate) treasure at the end of the last campaign, as well as a mysterious magical artifact that they wrested away from a would-be usurper with Imperial ambitions (a magical artifact connected to the most infamous pirates of the last 200 years, no less). Well, it's two years later, game-time, and the PCs find themselves on the run from mysterious forces seeking said magical item. So far, they've been cut off from their ship (and their wealth), framed for murder, impersonated nobles, and stolen a flying whale. Henk even lost his memory after getting into a fight with some pixies.
The characters, from left to right: Cris, human cleric; Ella, human wizard (an NPC that the players love to bug); Henk, half-Orc fighter (and captain of the PCs' catamaran, "The Sweet Lady" (which he calls 'the Lady in Red'); 'Sarah' (a new player), half-Elf rogue who's given so many aliases that nobody's really sure of her real name is; Rhonin (whose player joined about halfway into the first campaign), a halfling bard; and Jerod, human fighter (a bounty hunter who took a great deal of pleasure in enjoying his sudden wealth).
Hope the info-dump didn't strain anybody's eyes. I've got high hopes for this campaign; it's going well so far. Maybe one day I'll sit down and draw out a comic for the whole thing.
I love it I wish I could draw the characters for my campaign that has really just kicked off or my character in another campaign, alas pencil paper and I don't get along all that well.
lol that half-elf sounds a lot like my character! I'm a ranger though (female) ad I have convienced everyone that my name is fred. It's pretty great when you've described yourself as lighty tanned with an hourglass figure and you tell everyone your name is fred.
Nice work, I you want to draw any of our characters we can give you some great ideas we have played. One I am pretty fond of is my gnome spellthief that had the habbit of throwing himself from the towers of Eberron.
This is one of the best well balanced, non ridiculous adventuring parties I have seen here. All to often someone makes a wacky character just cause they want to feel "special", failing to realise that you can make any character special if you play them right. Well done on this pick, it looks great. The bounty hunter is my fav
I love seeing a groups progression!
Keep it up.
