I know there's been a whole heck of a lot of development in the comics since this show ended, and what I've seen so far, I've liked (I'm particularly fond of Ben Bates, artwise). That being said, the cartoon version is probably how I'm always going to remember these characters best. I haven't seem much of Eggman (and from what I gather, he's an alternate reality/zone version of Robotnik....right?), and he seems a good villain, but I'm always going to like Jim Cummings' version best. So evil and threatening, downright menacing. I always thought he was intimidating as hell, and I think it has a lot to do with that voicework.
Anyway, couple notes:
-Yeah, Antoine's look is more in line with current comics. I just really like the soldier's uniform he's got.
-I don't think I've ever seen Sally use a blaster, but, man, I've always thought that would be cool. Not much for designing them, though, so I just gave her Han Solo's.
-Sorry there's no Rotor, but I never really paid much attention to him. And he mostly stayed in Knothole, anyway.
-I'm NOT sorry there's no Dulcey. She always annoyed the crap outta me.
-I'm not at all satisfied with the way Sonic's face turned out, but considering it's the first time I've drawn him since third grade, I guess it'll do.
-The more I think about it, the more Sonic's single eye...thing....freaks me out. Why was it designed that way? How does that even work?
